Configure your Blog Writer agent with these settings:
Language
The language for generated content. Default: English
Examples: English, Spanish, French, German
Tone of voice
The writing style and tone for your content. Default: professional
Examples: professional, friendly, conversational, expert, casual, educational
Content template
Custom template with [placeholders] that AI will fill. Leave empty for full AI generation.

The AI will generate appropriate content for each placeholder based on your article brief.
Add internal links automatically
When enabled, the agent automatically adds internal links to your existing content, products, and collections. Default: enabled
Brand voice guidelines
Information about your brand, values, and messaging guidelines to ensure consistent brand voice.
Example: "Eco-friendly company focused on sustainability. Emphasize natural ingredients and environmental responsibility. Speak directly to environmentally conscious consumers."
Default word count
Default target word count for articles. Default: 1200 words
Range: 300-5000 words
Generate images automatically
Enable AI-powered image generation for articles. Default: disabled
Note: Images cost an additional 10 credits per image

Blog article generation uses a credit-based system:
- Base article: 8 credits
- Each image: +10 credits

How to use
Basic article generation
- Go to your Blog Writer agent
- Enter your article details:
- Article title - Content brief (what the article should cover) - Primary keyword - Secondary keywords (optional) - Target word count
- Select content format (blog post, guide, listicle, etc.)
- Choose search intent:
- Informational: Educational content - Commercial: Content with product recommendations
- Click Generate
Using custom templates
To use a custom template:
- In agent settings, add your template to the "Content template" field
- Use [placeholders] for sections you want AI to fill
- Generate your article as normal
- The AI will follow your template structure and fill in the placeholders
Generating articles with images
To include AI-generated images:
- Enable "Generate images automatically" in agent settings, OR
- Set
generateImages to true in your API request
Specify the number of images (1-10)
Images include:
- Hero image (16:9) for article header - Section images (1:1) for main content sections
Commercial content with products
For articles that feature products:
- Set search intent to "commercial"
- Either:
- Preselect specific products to feature, OR - Preselect collections to pull products from, OR - Let AI automatically select relevant products
- The AI will naturally incorporate product mentions in the content
