Which languages does ConvertMate support?

Information about ConvertMate's interface language and supported languages for content generation

Last updated: Nov 19, 2025

ConvertMate's interface is currently available in English. All navigation, settings, documentation, and system messages appear in English.

However, our AI agents can generate and analyze content in a wide range of languages, giving you flexibility to create marketing materials for different markets. Additionally, our sales chat assistant automatically responds in your language, making it easy to get help in over 50 languages.

Sales chat multilingual support

The ConvertMate sales chat widget on our public website automatically detects and responds in your language. If you write to us in Dutch, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, or any of 50+ languages, the AI assistant will respond in that same language.

This applies to:

  • Product questions and feature inquiries
  • Pricing and plan information
  • Agency services questions
  • Technical support requests
  • General information about ConvertMate

The chat assistant maintains context in your chosen language throughout the conversation, making it easier to get information without language barriers.

Content generation languages

When you use ConvertMate's AI agents to create or optimize content, you can work with content in many languages including:

European languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Czech, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Slovak, Slovenian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian, Maltese, Irish Middle Eastern and Asian languages: Arabic, Hebrew, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, Turkish, Persian (Farsi), Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay, Tagalog Other languages: Russian, Ukrainian, Swahili, Tamil, Telugu, and many more

The AI agents understand these languages and can generate natural, contextually appropriate content for your target audience.

How language support works

Content optimization

When you optimize product descriptions, blog posts, or other content with ConvertMate's agents, they detect the language of your existing content and maintain that language in their recommendations.

If your product description is in French, the optimization suggestions will be in French. If it's in Spanish, the suggestions will be in Spanish.

Content generation

For content generation tasks (writing blog articles, creating meta descriptions, generating social posts), you can specify your target language in the agent settings. The AI will generate content in that language using appropriate tone, style, and cultural context.

SEO and keyword research

SEO agents can analyze search performance and conduct keyword research for different language markets. When connected to Google Search Console, the agents understand which language market you're optimizing for and provide relevant recommendations.

For example, if you run keyword research for your German website, the agent returns German keywords with search volumes and difficulty scores specific to that market.

What's displayed in English

The ConvertMate interface itself—including menus, buttons, settings panels, help documentation, and system notifications—appears in English. This means:

  • Navigation and menu items
  • Agent configuration screens
  • Credit usage reports
  • Billing and account settings
  • Help articles and documentation
  • Email notifications from ConvertMate
  • Error messages and system alerts

The content the agents generate or analyze can be in any supported language, but the controls and interface around those agents remain in English.

Best practices for multilingual content

Working with multiple language markets

If you manage content for multiple language markets, you can run agents separately for each market:

  1. Connect platform accounts for each language market (separate Shopify stores, different Google Search Console properties, etc.)
  2. Run agents on each market's content independently
  3. Configure agents with language-specific settings when available
  4. Review results for each market in their native language

Translation vs. localization

ConvertMate agents don't simply translate content word-for-word. When generating content in a specific language, they understand cultural context, local search patterns, and language-specific marketing conventions.

This means content generated for Spanish-speaking audiences in Spain may differ from content for Spanish-speaking audiences in Mexico, even though both use Spanish.

Mixing languages

If your business operates in multiple language markets, you'll see content in different languages throughout the platform. The dashboard shows products, pages, and content in whatever language they exist on your connected platforms.

For example, if you have English products and French products in the same store, both appear in the ConvertMate interface in their original languages.

Language limitations

While ConvertMate supports content generation in many languages, there are practical considerations:

Interface language: The interface is only available in English. If your team isn't comfortable with English navigation, this may present a challenge. AI model capabilities: Less common languages or regional dialects may have reduced AI performance compared to widely-spoken languages. The most reliable results come from languages with extensive training data (English, Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, etc.). Platform integration limits: Some third-party platforms ConvertMate integrates with have their own language restrictions. For example, certain analytics or marketing platforms may not support all languages equally. Support: Customer support is provided in English. If you need help troubleshooting issues or understanding results, communication happens in English.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the interface language?

Not currently. The interface is available in English only. We're evaluating demand for additional interface languages based on user feedback.

Will the AI understand content in multiple languages on the same website?

Yes. If your website has pages in different languages (like a multilingual e-commerce store), ConvertMate agents detect and respect each page's language when analyzing or optimizing content.

How do I specify which language to use for content generation?

Most content generation agents include a language or locale setting in their configuration. Select your target language before running the agent. If the setting isn't visible, the agent will use the same language as your source content.

Are there additional costs for different languages?

No. Language support doesn't affect credit costs. An agent that costs 100 credits in English costs 100 credits in Spanish, French, or any other supported language.

Can I generate content in one language and translate it to another?

While technically possible by running agents separately for each language, ConvertMate agents work best when generating content directly in the target language rather than translating. This produces more natural, culturally appropriate results.

Future language support

We continuously expand language capabilities based on user needs and AI model improvements. If you need support for a language not currently handled well, contact our support team to share your use case.
