ConvertMate uses a credit-based system that gives you control over how you use the platform. Every time you run an AI agent, it costs a certain number of credits based on the complexity of the task and how much data it processes.
How credits work
Credits are the currency you use to run AI agents. When you run an agent, the system deducts the required credits from your account balance. If you don't have enough credits, you'll need to wait for your monthly renewal or purchase additional credits.
The cost varies by agent. A simple task might cost 50 credits, while analyzing your entire product catalog might cost 500 credits or more. The exact cost is always shown before you run an agent.

Credit renewal
Your credits renew automatically at the start of each billing period. Here's what you need to know:
Monthly renewal - Credits reset on the same day each month based on when you signed up or upgraded. No rollover - Unused credits don't carry over to the next month. Use them before your renewal date to get the most value. Immediate access - When you upgrade to a higher plan, you get the new credit allocation right away.Checking your balance
You can check your credit balance in three places:
Top navigation bar - Your current credit count is always visible in the header, so you know where you stand at a glance. Settings → Plan & billing - See your current balance, next renewal date, and plan details all in one place. Settings → Credit usage - View a detailed breakdown of how you've used credits, including which agents cost how much and when you ran them. View your credit usagePurchasing additional credits
If you run out of credits before your monthly renewal, you can purchase credit packages:
- 100 credits - $15
- 500 credits - $60 (save 20%)
- 1,500 credits - $180 (save 20%)
- 5,000 credits - $600 (save 20%)
Credit packages:
- Don't expire for 12 months from purchase
- Can be used alongside your monthly plan credits
- Are charged immediately when purchased
- Stack if you buy multiple packages
Managing credit usage
Here are some ways to make your credits go further:
Start with a small scope - When testing a new agent, run it on 5-10 items first instead of your entire catalog. This lets you evaluate the output before committing more credits. Check costs before running - Every agent shows its credit cost before you run it. Review this to avoid surprises. Monitor usage regularly - Check Settings → Credit usage to see which agents you're using most and whether you're on track to stay within your monthly allocation. Schedule strategically - If you're close to renewal, save large agent runs until after your credits reset. Use execution history - Review past executions to identify which agents provide the best return on credit investment.Credit refunds
Credits are automatically refunded in these situations:
Failed executions - If an agent fails due to a system error, you get your credits back immediately. Canceled executions - If you cancel an agent while it's running, any unused credits are refunded. Service issues - If our system is down or experiencing problems, affected credits are refunded.Credits are not refunded for:
- Agents that complete successfully, even if you don't like the output
- Agents you configure incorrectly
- Voluntary cancellations after the agent has started processing
Plan changes
When you upgrade or downgrade your plan, here's what happens to your credits:
Upgrading - You immediately get the new plan's credit allocation. Your next billing date stays the same. Downgrading - You keep your current credits until your next renewal date. After renewal, you'll get the new plan's allocation. Canceling - You keep access to your plan and credits until the end of your current billing period.Enterprise plans
Need more than 5,000 credits per month? Enterprise plans offer:
- Custom credit allocations based on your needs
- Volume discounts for high usage
- Dedicated account manager
- Custom agent development
- Priority support with SLA guarantees
Understanding what uses credits
Only running AI agents costs credits. These activities are free:

- Reviewing past execution results
- Managing team members
- Connecting platforms
- Using the Ask Anything AI feature (free plan has limits)
Tips for credit management
Review usage patterns - After your first month, check your usage report to see which agents you use most. This helps you decide if you need a higher plan. Set up workflows - Once you're confident an agent works well, set it to run automatically. This prevents you from forgetting to use your credits each month. Team coordination - If multiple team members have access, establish guidelines about who can run which agents to avoid unexpected credit usage. Monitor daily - The credit counter in the top navigation updates in real-time. Check it before running large operations. What's next
