  • No need to create or remember another password
  • Skip email verification - your Google account is already verified
  • One-click sign in on future visits
More secure:
  • Google handles authentication with industry-leading security
  • Two-factor authentication if enabled on your Google account
  • No password to store or manage in ConvertMate
Immediate access:
  • Start using ConvertMate immediately after connecting your Google account
  • No waiting for activation emails
  • Seamless onboarding experience

Create a new account with Google

If you're new to ConvertMate, you can create an account using your Google account.

  1. Visit https://app.convertmate.io/register
  2. Click Sign up with Google at the top of the registration form
  3. Choose your Google account from the list (or sign in to Google if needed)
  4. Review the permissions ConvertMate requests and click Allow
  5. You'll be redirected back to ConvertMate and automatically signed in
  6. Complete the onboarding flow to set up your workspace
What ConvertMate accesses:
  • Your email address (to create your account)
  • Your name (to personalize your experience)
  • Your profile picture (optional, for your avatar)

ConvertMate does not access your Gmail, Google Drive, or other Google services.

Sign in with an existing Google account

If you already have a ConvertMate account and want to link it to your Google account for easier sign-in:

  1. Visit https://app.convertmate.io/login
  2. Click Sign in with Google
  3. Choose the Google account that matches your ConvertMate email address
  4. Review the permissions and click Allow
  5. You'll be signed in automatically
If your email matches:

ConvertMate will automatically link your Google account to your existing account. You can now use either method to sign in:

  • Google Sign In (no password needed)
  • Traditional email and password

Switching between accounts

If you have multiple Google accounts, you can choose which one to use when signing in:

  1. Click Sign in with Google on the login page
  2. Google will show your recently used accounts
  3. Click the account you want to use
  4. Or click Use another account to sign in with a different Google account

Troubleshooting

"Your Google account email is not verified"

ConvertMate requires a verified email address from Google. If you see this error:

  1. Sign in to your Google account at https://myaccount.google.com
  2. Navigate to Personal info > Email
  3. Verify your email address if needed
  4. Try signing in to ConvertMate again
"An account with this email already exists"

If you see this message, you already have a ConvertMate account with that email address. Use Sign in with Google instead of signing up, and ConvertMate will link your Google account to your existing account.

"Unable to sign in with Google"

If Google Sign In isn't working:

  1. Check that your browser allows third-party cookies (required for OAuth)
  2. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies
  3. Disable browser extensions that might block authentication (ad blockers, privacy tools)
  4. Try a different browser
  5. Use email and password sign in as an alternative
Adding a password after signing up with Google

If you signed up with Google and want to add a password for backup access:

  1. Sign in to ConvertMate with Google
  2. Navigate to Settings > My details
  3. Click Add password
  4. Enter and confirm your new password
  5. You can now sign in with either Google or email/password

Security considerations

Your Google password:

ConvertMate never sees or stores your Google password. Authentication happens entirely through Google's secure OAuth system.

Disconnecting Google:

You can remove ConvertMate's access to your Google account at any time:

  1. Visit https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
  2. Find ConvertMate in the list of connected apps
  3. Click Remove access
Note: If Google is your only sign-in method, you must add a password before disconnecting Google, or you'll be locked out of your account. Account security:
  • Keep your Google account secure with a strong password and two-factor authentication
  • Review connected apps regularly at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
  • Never share your Google account credentials with anyone
