Manage your subscriptionWhat happens after cancellation
Access continues until period ends
When you cancel, you don't lose access immediately. You keep full access to ConvertMate until the end of your current billing period.
For example:
- You're on the $99/month Growth plan
- Your billing date is the 15th of each month
- You cancel on January 5th
- You keep full access until February 15th
- No charges on February 15th or after
This means you get what you paid for, even after canceling.
Your remaining credits
Credits you've already received remain available until your subscription ends:
- Use all remaining credits before your end date
- Credits expire when subscription ends
- No refunds for unused credits
- Purchased credit packages remain valid (they don't expire for 12 months)
What gets limited
After your subscription ends (not when you cancel):
- You can't run new agents (insufficient plan access)
- You can't create new content or optimizations
- Platform connections stop syncing
- Workflows stop executing
What stays available
You retain limited access to:
- View execution history (read-only)
- Export past reports and data
- Access your account settings
- View analytics dashboards (no new data)
- Download any generated content
You can still log in and browse your historical data, but can't generate new analyses or optimizations.
Refund policy
Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable because:
- You have access to the full month after canceling
- You can run agents up until subscription ends
- Credits are available until end date
- No partial-month refunds

- First 30 days: Full refund if you cancel within 30 days of initial purchase

Downgrading instead of canceling
If you want to reduce costs without canceling entirely, consider downgrading:
Benefits of downgrading vs canceling
Downgrading to a lower plan:- Keep some access to ConvertMate
- Maintain data sync from platforms
- Continue viewing analytics
- Run agents with reduced credits
- Keep workflows active (with reduced limits)
- Keep 100 credits per month
- Access to 2 agents
- Maintain limited functionality
- No billing charges
- All historical data retained
- Go to Settings → Plan & billing
- Click Change plan
- Select a lower-tier plan or Free plan
- Confirm change
- Change takes effect at next billing date
This way you stay connected to ConvertMate for occasional use without the full subscription cost.
Pausing your account
ConvertMate doesn't offer account pausing, but you can:
Downgrade to Free:- Effectively pause with no charges
- Keep limited access
- Upgrade again when ready
- Cancel now, pay nothing

After 30 days

After 90 days
If you don't reactivate within 90 days:
- Account data is permanently deleted

- Analytics data deleted
- This deletion is irreversible
- Export important data before canceling

- Go to Settings → Export data
- Select what to export:
- Execution history - Analytics reports - Generated content - Workflow configurations - Product data and insights
- Choose export format (CSV, JSON, or PDF)
- Click Export

Common cancellation scenarios
Scenario 1: Seasonal business
Situation: You only need ConvertMate during peak season Recommendation:- Cancel after peak season ends
- Reactivate before next season
- Your data will be waiting for you
- Alternative: Downgrade to Free plan between seasons
Scenario 2: Budget constraints
Situation: Need to reduce costs temporarily Recommendation:- Downgrade to a lower plan instead of canceling
- Free plan keeps you connected with no cost
- Upgrade again when budget allows
- Keep your data and workflows active
Scenario 3: Not using enough
Situation: You're not running enough agents to justify the cost Recommendation:- Downgrade to Free plan (100 credits/month)
- Use it occasionally at no cost
- Upgrade if usage increases
