Browsing the agents library

How to explore, filter, and find the right AI agents for your needs

Last updated: Oct 4, 2025

The agents library is where you browse all available AI agents, see what each one does, and configure them before running. Think of it as your catalog of marketing automation tools, each designed to handle a specific task.

Accessing the library

To open the agents library:

  1. Log in to your ConvertMate account
  2. Click AI Agents in the left sidebar
  3. Select Library from the submenu

You'll see all agents displayed as cards, showing key information about each one at a glance.

Understanding agent cards

Each agent card in the library shows:

Agent name - What the agent does in plain language. Description - A brief explanation of the agent's purpose and what results you can expect. Credit cost - How many credits one execution will cost. This varies based on scope and complexity. Required platforms - Which connections you need before you can run the agent. For example, product optimization agents need Shopify connected. Plan requirement - Some agents are only available on certain plans (Starter, Growth, or Business). Category badge - Tags like "Content," "SEO," "Analytics," or "Campaign" help you understand the agent's focus area.

Filtering and searching

Use the filters at the top of the library to narrow down your options:

By category - Show only content agents, analytics agents, SEO agents, or campaign agents. By platform - Filter to agents that work with your connected platforms (Shopify, Google Search Console, etc.). By plan - See only agents included in your current plan, or view what's available if you upgrade. Search - Type keywords to find specific agents. Search looks at agent names and descriptions.

These filters work together, so you can combine them. For example, you could show only SEO agents that work with Google Search Console and are included in your current plan.

Agent categories

Agents are grouped into categories based on what they do:

Content agents

Create or optimize written content for your marketing:

  • Product description optimization
  • Blog article writing
  • Meta title and description generation
  • Content gap analysis
  • Social media post creation

These agents typically need access to your e-commerce platform or content management system.

SEO agents

Analyze and improve your search engine optimization:

  • Technical SEO audits
  • Keyword research and analysis
  • Ranking monitoring
  • Competitor SEO analysis
  • Backlink opportunity identification

Most SEO agents require Google Search Console to be connected.

Analytics agents

Provide insights and recommendations based on your data:

  • AI presence monitoring (how you appear in AI-powered search)
  • Performance trend analysis
  • Content performance scoring
  • Conversion optimization suggestions
  • Audience behavior analysis

These agents typically need Google Analytics 4 or Google Search Console.

Campaign agents

Plan and execute marketing campaigns:

  • Content calendar creation
  • Email campaign generation
  • Seasonal campaign planning
  • Multi-channel campaign coordination
  • Budget allocation recommendations

Campaign agents may require multiple platform connections depending on the campaign type.

Viewing agent details

Click any agent card to open its detail page. Here you'll see:

Full description - Everything the agent does, what data it analyzes, and what output you can expect. Requirements - Exact platform connections needed, any special permissions required, and minimum plan level. Configuration options - What settings you can customize before running the agent. Credit cost breakdown - How the agent calculates its cost (per product, per page, flat rate, etc.). Expected run time - How long the agent typically takes to complete. Sample output - Examples of what results look like after the agent runs. Related agents - Other agents that work well in combination with this one.

Checking if you can run an agent

Before you can run an agent, you need to meet its requirements:

Plan access - Your plan must include the agent. If you see "Requires Growth plan" and you're on Starter, you'll need to upgrade. Platform connections - All required platforms must be connected and syncing properly. Sufficient credits - Your account must have enough credits to cover the cost. Complete configuration - Any required settings must be filled in before the agent can run.

The agent detail page shows a clear status for each requirement. If something's missing, you'll see what you need to do to unlock it.

Setting up an agent

To configure an agent for the first time:

  1. Click the agent card in the library
  2. Review the requirements and make sure they're all met
  3. Click Set up agent or Configure
  4. Fill in any required fields (marked with an asterisk *)
  5. Adjust optional settings to match your preferences
  6. Review the credit cost (it may change based on your settings)
  7. Click Save settings

Your configuration is saved, so you can run this agent anytime without reconfiguring it (unless you want to change something).

Running an agent from the library

After an agent is configured:

  1. Find the agent in the library
  2. Click its card to open the detail page
  3. Review your current settings
  4. Check the credit cost
  5. Click Run agent to start

The agent begins executing immediately. You'll get a notification when it finishes. You can run multiple agents at the same time as long as you have enough credits for each.

Understanding credit costs

Credit costs vary widely between agents:

Simple agents (50-100 credits) - Quick tasks like generating a single meta description or analyzing one product. Medium agents (100-500 credits) - More complex tasks like optimizing 10-20 products or running a focused SEO audit. Large agents (500-2,000 credits) - Comprehensive tasks like analyzing your entire site, researching dozens of keywords, or generating a full content calendar. Enterprise agents (2,000+ credits) - Extensive analyses like competitor research across multiple competitors, full-site technical audits, or comprehensive campaign planning.

The exact cost is always shown before you run an agent, and it adjusts based on your configuration. For example, a product optimization agent might cost 10 credits per product, so optimizing 50 products would cost 500 credits.

Agents not available on your plan

If an agent shows "Not included in your plan," you have a few options:

Upgrade your plan - Higher plans unlock more agents. Check which plan includes the agent you want. Use an alternative agent - Sometimes a different agent can achieve a similar result. Check the "Related agents" section for options. Contact sales for custom access - If you need just one or two specific agents from a higher tier, email support@convertmate.io to discuss custom plan options. Compare plans and agents

Favoriting agents

To make frequently used agents easier to find:

  1. Open the agent detail page
  2. Click the star icon next to the agent name
  3. The agent is added to your favorites

Your favorites appear at the top of the library, making it fast to access the agents you use most often.

Agent recommendations

The library can recommend agents based on:

  • Your connected platforms
  • Agents other similar businesses use
  • What you haven't tried yet
  • Seasonal relevance

Look for the "Recommended for you" section at the top of the library. These recommendations update as you use ConvertMate more.
